Shocking Duggar Heartbreak: Josiah's Wife Suffers Miscarriage
Josiah Duggar and his wife, Lauren, suffered a miscarriage shortly after they got married, RadarOnline.com can report.
The sad news was shared in a special clip on TLC ahead of the Feb. 11 premiere of the Duggar family's show, Counting On. In the clip, shown above, Josiah, 22, and Lauren, 19, explained they found out they were pregnant in October 2018, four months after marriage.
"So about a couple months ago we found out that we were expecting but suddenly thereafter we lost our baby," Lauren announced alongside Josiah.
"It really was a hard time for our family just going through this right after we got married," Josiah added. "All the dreams of getting to see our little one and getting to hold it in our hands just dashed right before our eyes."
Lauren explained the couple knows they aren't the only ones affected by the devastation of a miscarriage. She revealed she and Josiah wanted to tell their story to let others know "you are not alone."
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Josiah and Lauren tied the knot in a last-minute ceremony on June 30, 2018.
The couple said "I do" at John Brown University Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
However, the two first fueled pregnancy rumors before their whirlwind wedding. After becoming engaged, Josiah and Lauren reportedly planned a wedding for New Year's Eve 2018 and then suddenly moved it up to August.
