Season 16 of NBC’s hit singing reality competition show The Voice premieres in just a few short weeks and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that rookie coach John Legend’s BFFs Kim Kardashian and hubby Kanye West are not welcome on set!

According to a source, Legend, 40 — who replaced controversial coach Jennifer Hudson  for the upcoming season — was pushing for West, 41, to be an advisor for Team John.

However, when the three other returning coaches, which include Kelly Clarkson, 36, Blake Shelton, 42, and Adam Levine, 39, got word of this they voiced their concerns to the higher-ups!

“Kanye has just caused too many problems in his personal life and endeavors lately and they just feel that it would be best if him and Kim stayed away from the show for John’s first season,” the insider revealed.

As fans know, West and his 37-year-old Keeping up with the Kardashians star wife have been besties with Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen, 44, for years. After a brief feud over political issues, the foursome rekindled their bond recently by taking a couples vacation together to San Francisco, California.

“John has been bringing Chrissy to set and everyone gets along with the both of them just fine. He has a big head and he is definitely trying to win, but they are all in it to win it,” the source told Radar

“Everyone thinks he just needs to calm down and relax because he is getting himself all psyched out over this. It is really just the luck of the draw as to who hits that buzzer first for the person that is meant to win.”
