R. Kelly Under Investigation In Chicago, DA ‘Sickened’ Over Sexual Assault Claims

Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx announced that there’s an active investigation into R. Kelly’s alleged string of sexual assaults, RadarOnline.com has learned.
“The allegations in the docuseries regarding R. Kelly are deeply, deeply concerning,” Foxx said at a news conference on Wednesday afternoon. “I was sickened by the allegations. I was sickened as a survivor – as a mother – as a prosecutor. The allegations were not new to me.”
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the explosive docuseries Surviving R. Kelly revealed that the entertainer impregnated the late Aaliyah when she was just 15 years old. He also reportedly held six women against their will in an abusive “cult” throughout Chicago and Atlanta.
According to Foxx, investigators have been in contact over the last few years with women who allege the entertainer sexually victimized them.
As RadarOnline.com reported in 2016, R. Kelly secretly constructed a “heavily guarded” room where he allegedly lured underage girls to perform humiliating sex acts. Despite the many claims he kidnapped, assaulted and brainwashed the girls, the star denied any wrongdoing.
“I’m here today to encourage victims of sexual assault to please get in touch with our office,” Foxx continued. “Please come forward. We cannot seek justice without you.”
R. Kelly and his entourage are also being investigated in Georgia after harassing a victim.
