Lionel Richie's son Milo was detained at London's Heathrow Airport for telling security guards he had a bomb in his bag, RadarOnline.com can confirm.

Metropolitan Police told Radar on Saturday, January 19, "a 24-year-old man accepted a caution for communicating false information causing a bomb hoax and battery following an incident at Heathrow Terminal 5 earlier that morning."

It's unclear why the male model made the alarming comment.

Various news outlets also reported he punched a security guard during the troubling incident.

Milo — the older brother of Sofia Richie — has since been released from custody. He has not spoken about the event.
