Lindsay Lohan 'Still Drinks' After Multiple Rehab Stints: 'She Never Really Stopped'
Jan. 9 2019, Updated 12:56 a.m. ET
Former Hollywood wild child Lindsay Lohan is back with her new MTV show Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club. RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that although she still drinks after multiple rehab stints, she has “tamed down dramatically” for her reemergence into the spotlight!
“Lindsay still drinks and has never really stopped drinking," a source close to Lohan told RadarOnline.com. "She just hides it whenever possible because she does not want to deal with the backlash right now as she does PR for her upcoming show."
As previously reported, having already opened a club in Athens and Rhodes, Beach Club is focused on her expanding her venture to Mykonos, Greece.
“Her show is based around her life and her club. Obviously, there is going to be drinking going on. But she is not doing any drugs and is as tame as she has ever been,” the source said. “She is at her nightclub nearly every single night and has really pulled it together for this show.”
“The audience is going to get to see a side of Lindsay that they have not yet seen, which is her as a businesswoman doing what she does best — entertain,” the insider added.
Lohan opened up about her tamer lifestyle in an interview with Paper Magazine in 2018.
"I like to have fun, but that doesn't mean I need to go out and drink and be crazy," she said. "I have a good relationship with that. It's funnier to watch other people party. My brother and his wife came out to Mykonos and everyone wanted to go out every night, but I pretty much just went home; some of my friends didn't want to go out, so they'd come and I'd cook. I like cooking for people and having people over and listening to good music.”
Lohan, 32, completed multiple rehab stints for alcohol abuse after arrests for DUIs, breaking probation and more charges. In 2016, she opened up about attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings to stay sober.
Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club premieres tonight, January 8, at 8pm on MTV.
