Liam Neeson's nephew has died, 10 years after the actor was forced to mourn the death his beloved wife.
As RadarOnline.com has learned, 35-year-old Ronan Sexton passed away this weekend surrounded by family inside his Northern Ireland home.
The Belfast Telegraph was first to report the news, noting that his death came five years after he suffered a tragic fall during a wild night out with friends. At the time, Sexton dropped 20 feet from a telephone kiosk and was hospitalized with serious head injuries.
Sexton was the youngest of six children. His mom, Bernadette is Neeson’s sister.
Though Neeson, 66, has not spoken publicly of Sexton’s death, RadarOnline.com readers know it comes almost exactly 10 years after the passing of Natasha Richardson.
The Taken star’s wife of 15 years died two days after falling and hitting her head during a ski trip in Quebec, Canada. She was 45 at the time.
To honor her, Micheál, one of her two sons with Neeson recently adopted her last name.
“That wasn’t because he wanted to avoid his father’s fame, which is enormous. He wanted to hold his mother close to him — because she was a remarkable actress. Absolutely remarkable,” Richardson’s mother told reporters late last year.
