In a shocking betrayal, a member of infamous crime lord Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán’s trusted inner circle turned on the mafia boss, spilling nearly all the secrets of the drug-trafficking empire!
For nearly five hours, Vicente Zambada Niebla, son of Ismael Zambada García, one of the cartel’s leaders and co-founders, openly revealed smuggling routes, money-laundering schemes, violent and personal vendettas, and millions of dollars in bribes.
“I started realizing how everything was done,” Zambada Niebla testified, revealing that he started working with his father inside the cartel as a teenager. “Little by little, I started getting involved in my father’s business.”
Zambada Niebla’s testimony came at the midway point in the drug trial of “El Chapo.” As RadarOnline.com has reported, the drug Lord was arrested in 2016 in Mexico, after escaping from prison that summer after digging an extensive hole and tunnel underneath his cell shower.

In 2017, he was extradited to the U.S. and his trial finally began in late November of last year.
It is alleged that Guzman spent a quarter of a century smuggling more than 155 tons of cocaine into the United States.
Legal experts say the case against Guzman is water-tight and could see him being sent to a maximum-security prison for the rest of his life.
In opening statements, assistant U.S. attorney Adam Fels told a jury how the kingpin would become famous for using an army of hitmen to wipe out his competitors, and anyone within his Sinaloa cartel who betrayed him.
“Money, drugs, murder… that is what this case is about,” he said.
