Missing 3-Year-Old Boy Found Alive After Disappearing Into Woods

Casey Hathaway is alive and well! After nearly three days of searching, police found the young boy stuck in a thorn bush near his grandmother’s house in North Carolina, RadarOnline.com has learned.
This Thursday, January 24, at a news conference, Craven County Sheriff Chip Hughes told reporters the 3-year-old was calling out for his mom as he struggled to untangle himself from the vines.
After the rescue, Casey was sent to the hospital to receive treatment for his injuries. Police said he was cold but in good health.
RadarOnline.com readers know Casey went missing this Tuesday, January 22 after playing with friends in the woods next to his grandma’s house. The family looked for him for 45 minutes before reporting him missing.
Soon, rescue crews and volunteers started a search expedition to find the boy. They were combing the woods when they heard his voice.
“Casey is healthy, smiling, and talking. He said he hung out with a bear for two days God sent him a friend to keep him safe,” wrote Casey’s aunt, Breanna Hathaway, after the boy was reunited with the family. “God is good God. Miracles do happen”
The investigation into Casey Hathaway’s disappearance is still ongoing.
