Instagram Model Credits Former Rail-Thin Body To Diet Of ‘Tapas And Cocaine’

An Australian model turned Instagram mommy blogger has just shared the terrifying truth behind her formerly rail-thin physique.
In a candid question-and-answer session obtained by news.com.au, Ruby Matthews admitted her thin frame was due to a diet of snacks and hard drugs.
“I did a lot of cocaine, like a lot so basically I just smoked cigarettes, had long blacks and did coke,” she said.
“And in between, had the tapas. Like my life was tapas and cocaine” Matthews, 25, admitted.
Before giving birth to her two children, the beauty weighed a mere 119 lbs. On her feed, she often posted cheeky bikini selfies and revealing shots that showed off her scary-skinny body. And despite the fact that her alluring lifestyle attracted over 190K followers and hundreds of paid partnerships, she was not leading a healthy life.
“A lot of people never really understood like how I could eat and still be so thin. But I guess it’s pretty easy to hide an addiction,” said Matthews. “Like people don’t really realize how easy it is to hide something. Whether it’s addiction, depression, anxiety.”
Though she was getting a lot of attention for her thing body, Mathews does not want to encourage other influencers to follow her bad past decisions.
“I need to be careful what I’m saying here, but in the influencer industry, everyone loves the baggie,” Matthews said, referring to cocaine. “That is how most physiques are maintained… that’s how my physique was maintained.”
The moment she found out she was pregnant Matthews said she was shocked that her body could grow a baby. Regardless, she was happily surprised by the news and immediately decided to turn her life around.
Now, she is the happy mother to sons Mars and Rocket, who she often posts on her social media channels. She weighs 20 lbs. more than she did four years ago and her Instagram feed reflects the positive, healthy life she now lives.
