The party is over for Shannon Beador!

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, The Real Housewives of Orange County star ended her whirlwind romance with wealthy CEO Scot Matteson late last month. And now RadarOnline.com can reveal the relationship ended after it became “one big booze cruise."

“Shannon broke it off with Scott to focus on herself, and part of that was getting healthier, which included cutting down on the drinking,” the source continued, noting, “Scott loved to drink and go out and that was pretty much all they ever did together. When she decided to cut out the drinking she realized that he had to go, too.”

The reality mom of Sophie, 17, and twins Stella and Adeline, 14, recently got into a nasty court spat with her ex-husband David Beador, 54 — who demanded she no longer drink around their daughters.

Shannon responded to her estranged ex’s demands in court documents on Dec. 20, insisting to the court that his request be denied because it was based on a conversation that she and her RHOC cast mates had while filming the reunion.

But, according to the source, when the reunion was filmed Shannon had already cut back on her drinking “dramatically” after pulling the plug on her relationship with Matteson.

The blonde beauty, added the source, has definitely learned a lot about herself from the split: “Shannon is going to be very picky now that she knows her self-worth. She is not looking for any type of relationship until the divorce is finalized. She is putting herself first.”
