Warring 'RHOC' Exes Shannon & David Beador Call A Truce — For Now!

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador and her estranged husband David's nasty, months-long feud is off — for now.

Just one week after the mother of Sophie, 17, and twins Stella and Adeline, 14, filed court papers slamming her ex's custody request that she not drink alcohol around the girls, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the co-parents have decided to take a break from bickering to enjoy the holidays.

“They are both doing their best to keep the girls out of this mess," a source told RadarOnline.com.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Shannon and David, both 54, initially battled over who would get the kids for Christmas. But as part of the truce, the girls spent Christmas Eve with their mother, and the following day with their father.

Both parents also agreed to keep their lips zipped when it comes to gossip about the other.

"When they are with their father, they are not allowed to even bring up their mother. It is a forbidden topic," the source continued. “Same goes for Shannon. When she is with the girls and filming with the girls, she does not talk about their dad or badmouth him because she realized it just isn’t fair, or worth it.”

After a transition period, the girls are also getting along with their father's live-in girlfriend, single mom Lesley Cook, 34.

“The girls really like Lesley, and they like seeing their dad happy. He is happy and in love and she is good to him and a good mother to her kids,” the insider told RadarOnline.com.

Shannon, on the other hand, is now single. As RadarOnline.com first reported, the blonde beauty recently split with CEO boyfriend Scot Matteson after his party boy lifestyle became too much for her.

Shannon and David will return to court next month in their never-ending divorce.
