Liam Hemsworth's bravery during the Woosley fires in southern California "sealed the deal" for Miley Cyrus before their secret wedding, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
"Their love exploded" after the singer saw her on-again-off-again fiance caring for people and animals during the natural disaster, a source close to the couple said.
"They are a perfect match," said the insider. "Both families love each other and get along very well."
As RadarOnline.com reported, the two decided to put their wedding on a brief hold following the blaze that ripped through the quiet beach town of Malibu that they’ve lived in since reconciling over two years ago.
“They’ve been helping their community 24/7 since the fires first started and it has made them both fall in love with each other all over again,” a source told RadarOnline.com at the time, adding, “Liam has put his life in danger to help his neighbors and Miley has seen a side of him she never knew existed.”
In a series of Instagram photos wearing a Vivienne Westwood wedding gown, Cyrus seemingly confirmed RadarOnline.com's exclusive story that she and Hemsworth tied the knot earlier this week.
RadarOnline.com was first to break the news after shocked leaked photos on social media showed the young couple at a casual ceremony at their home in Franklin, Tennessee on Sunday, December 23.
Miley’s sisters Noah and Brandi, and their mom, Tish, were in attendance, as well as Liam’s brothers Chris and Luke.
Although Miley's dad Billy Ray was seen at the home on Brandi's Instagram on Christmas day Tuesday, sadly, the one-hit wonder was unable to attend the couple's surprise nuptials a few days prior for “personal reasons.”
