Jon & Kate Gosselin's Son To Be Released From Treatment This Week After Shock Custody Ruling

After more than two years in treatment for his special needs, Jon and Kate Gosselin's son Collin will be released this week and placed in his father's care, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
"He is expected to be released December 18 or 19," a source close to the family told RadarOnline.com. "Collin will transition out of the facility, and will finally be home with his dad for good."
As RadarOnline.com first reported, Jon, 41, won temporary custody of the 14-year-old earlier this month in a Pennsylvania court hearing. Though she was expected to attend the hearing, Kate, 43, was a no-show in the court room.
Jon's close friend Eric Rodriguez told RadarOnline.com in November that the father of eight was fighting to get his son home in time for Christmas.
"I asked him if he was excited about going to regular school and he said, yeah he's super excited about it," Eric said. "He just said he didn't like his other school that he was in before that facility, the one that Kate had him in."
In 2016, Kate confessed Collin was getting help in a facility. Sources told RadarOnline.com at the time the boy was suffering from "anger issues" and other problems.
