Jon Gosselin just won a major court victory in his bitter fight with ex-wife Kate this morning after a Pennsylvania judge awarded him temporary custody of the former couple’s troubled son Collin, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
“He won!” a source told RadarOnline.com, adding that the father was thrilled with the outcome.
Jon arrived to the Reading, Pennsylvania courtroom at 9:15 am in a black coat and suit, and joined his legal team, an insider told RadarOnline.com.
“He looked very serious but calm,” the insider said. “He looked like he had just one thing on his mind: To get custody of Collin.”
Though she was expected to appear in court, Jon’s bitter ex Kate was a no-show at the legal proceedings.
According to a court source, Kate previously attempted to delay the December 4 hearing, but her motion was denied.
At 10:30 am, Jon was spotted leaving the court, smiling and joking around with his attorneys.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Jon and Kate have been at war over 14-year-old Collin, who has been living in a treatment for his special needs since 2016.
Jon filed for full custody on October 24, claiming it would be in the teen’s best interest to live with his father, RadarOnline.com first revealed.
While Jon and Kate’s six other kids live with their mother, Hannah, 14, has been living with her dad since earlier this year following another bitter custody war.
Collin has been frequently visiting his father and sister on the weekends during breaks from his facility.
“Oh my god. His smile. Honestly, his smile was unbelievable,” Jon’s barber friend Eric told RadarOnline.com of Collin during a recent haircut.
According to the pal, Jon hopes to get Collin released from treatment by Christmas.
