Hawaii Preschool Assistant Serves Kids Pine-Sol For Snack Time In Apple Juice Mix-Up

A Hawaii preschool has gotten itself into a sticky situation. As RadarOnline.com has learned, a staffer at the institution accidentally served its young students cups of Pine-Sol for snack time — instead of apple juice!
According to CNN, a classroom assistant at Kilohana United Methodist Church in East Oahu mistook the cleaning product for apple juice — because of their similarity in terms of color — and served it to the kids on November 27.
The oil-removing solution was in its original packaging on a cart with other cleaning products.
Before the preschoolers could drink the liquid, however, their teacher smelled the Pine-Sol’s strong odor and removed the cups from their tables.
The Hawaii Department of Health told the outlet that three kids who took small sips of the solution were evaluated by medics after the incident.
The assistant who served the Pine-Sol no longer works at the preschool.
