Clint Eastwood was kept in the dark about his secret adopted daughter for nearly three decades, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
The Dirty Harry actor shocked fans and even his own family members when he was accompanied by all eight of his children this week at the premiere for his film, The Mule. Laurie Eastwood, 64, Clint’s long-lost child, especially surprised family members.
According to Laurie’s son, LT Murray IV, the 88-year-old had not met his daughter until years after she was born.
“They met when she was in her thirties,” LT told Radar. “Laurie’s mother never told him she was pregnant or spoke to him again.”
Laurie’s mother’s identity has yet to be revealed. However, it’s reported that Clint’s estranged daughter was given up for adoption after her birth.
Clint’s grandson – who acts in commercials – added that Clint had “no idea” about Laurie’s existence.
“It was clear he had no clue so to make him look like a bad guy is inaccurate,” LT continued, referencing recent reports about his relationship with Laurie.
“He’s a class act 100 percent,” LT said.
Earlier this week, Clint’s youngest child, Morgan, 22, wrote that it was “SO RARE” that all of the Eastwood siblings were under the same roof.
“I’m not sure there has ever been a picture of all 8 kids together but here it is,” she wrote on Instagram.
