Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown is spending the holidays alone in a California desert and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that he has not had any contact with his family for several weeks!
One week after a photo surfaced on Dec. 16 of Matt looking dazed while posing with a fan in Palm Desert, Calif., another photo surfaced of the 36-year-old appearing bleary-eyed in a neighboring town, Mountain Center, Calif.
And according to a source, “Matt has not returned home to his family since he left for the desert almost one month ago! Matt was not with his family for Christmas and all that they really know is that he is somewhere in the desert.”
Needless to say, Matt’s entire family is beyond worried — especially after seeing photos of him popping up on social media.
As fans who follow the troubled Brown brother know, Matt entered rehab in 2016 after getting arrested for DUI.
After a bout of sobriety, Matt allegedly began drinking again in 2017 after his mother Ami was diagnosed with late stage lung cancer.
In October, he voluntarily checked himself into treatment for the second time. Although his family urged him to stay for 90 days, Matt left after 30 days.
After father Billy insisted that his son have a sober coach, Matt refused and disappeared to the desert, where he has been ever since.
