Despite him battling cancer, NeNe Leakes' husband Gregg is still fighting for his family and wants his troubled stepson to do the same.

Symone Davis, who claims Bryson Bryant fathered her 1-year-old son Blaze Kai Davis. tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that in the beginning of their relationship, she and Bryant were having a bumpy ride and that is was Gregg who encouraged her to stay with his stepson because he thought she'd make him a better man.

"He told me I was a very sweet young lady and told me not to give up on Bryson," Davis explained. "He encouraged me to stick it out, to work on our problems because he believed Bryson needed a good woman in his life."

Davis said Gregg, 63, attended an event for the Real Housewives of Atlanta matriarch at the Intercontinental Hotel in Atlanta back in Jan. 2017 and that's where the conversation took place. She said at the time of the conversation she was pregnant, but didn't know until several days later.

"I really respect that man," Davis added. "He’s always been so kind and sweet to me and I hate that he has such a bully and narcissistic wife.

As Radar readers know, Davis, 27, and Bryant, 28, have been at each other's throats as she attempts to get him to pay child support while he denies he's the baby daddy.

Bryant spoke to Radar exclusively and claimed Davis is delusional and just trying to make a quick come up.

"Symone is on something weird right now and I don’t know what her deal is,” he told Radar exclusively on Oct. 30. “Look, when she was pregnant, she told me the baby wasn’t mine. I was like OK, cool and that was that. Now, all of a sudden, she says it's mine.

"Yes, we had sex and I’ve seen her baby once," he explained. "But like I said, she said the baby wasn’t mine in the beginning so that’s what I believed.”
