Fired Megyn Kelly 'Freaking Out' About Charlize Theron Playing Her In Movie

Ousted NBC star Megyn Kelly is horrified about Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron portraying her in a movie, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The Monster star is playing Kelly in an upcoming film about the disgraced Fox News chairman Roger Ailes, who got into a sexual harassment scandal which ended his career a year before his death.

Former Fox News anchors Kelly and Gretchen Carlson (who will be played by Nicole Kidman in the movie), were among the employees who publicly accused Ailes of being a pervert in the workplace.

Kelly, who left Fox for NBC, claimed that Ailes would call her into his office and make "obviously inappropriate sexually charged comments" about her appearance. She also alleged that he once tried to kiss her on the lips and then threatened her to keep quiet about his behavior.

Ailes stepped down from his Fox News job but had denied all the sexual harassment claims against him. He died in 2017 at age 77.

Now, Theron, 43, will play Kelly, 47, on screen and a source has told RadarOnline.com the former TV star is shaking in her boots.

"Charlize has been diving deep into every aspect of Megyn’s life for months now, and it’s eerie how seriously she’s taking this," the insider said. "Megyn is freaking out."

According to the source, "She started by nailing Megyn’s voice after watching tons of footage and has now transformed her hair and makeup to perfectly reflect the 2016 period that the movie is covering. It’s a totally scary transformation and you can’t blame Megyn for feeling a little freaked.

"Charlize is approaching this the same way she did with her role in ‘Monster’ that won her an Oscar – she did all the research herself, forensically, and has already showed the filmmakers what she’s come up with, and nobody’s allowed to get in her way!"

Theron was reportedly filming scenes as Kelly on the very day that NBC cancelled her show, Megyn Kelly Today, after outcry about the TV host's defense of wearing blackface on Halloween.

Weeks before her show getting chopped, Kelly admitted she was worried about Theron portraying her in the Ailes biopic.

"It’s truly an honor to find out that Charlize Theron is playing you in a movie, but I also am a little scared because … I consider that particular chapter of my life hallowed ground," she told Us Weekly.

"I don’t want anyone misrepresenting it," Kelly continued. "So I am hopeful that the people associated with that project — and they all seem above-board to me — will be really respectful of the women of Fox News in telling that story."
