Kate Gosselin and her ex-husband Jon will face off in court next week amid their nasty custody war over their troubled son Collin, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
A source told RadarOnline.com the bitter ex-spouses are expected to appear in a Pennsylvania courtroom on December 4 for a hearing regarding Jon's shock custody filing for the 14-year-old, who has been living in a facility for his special needs since 2016.
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported from state court records, Jon and his attorney filed papers on October 24, claiming it would be in the teen's best interest to live with his father upon his release from an inpatient center.
Jon's friend Eric Rodriguez told RadarOnline.com the former reality TV dad is hoping Collin can be officially checked out of treatment the week before Christmas.
"He looks really, really good," barber Eric said after cutting Collin's hair during a home visit with his father earlier this month.
Jon and Kate's daughter Hannah also lives her father after a nasty custody battle last spring.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Jon, Hannah and Collin stopped by Reinhardt's Tree Farm in Bernville to pick out a Christmas tree over the weekend.
"Yes, Jon and his family were here," a tree farm employee told RadarOnline.com, adding that the clan appeared "happy."
