John David Duggar officially tied the knot to Abbie Grace Burnett over the weekend. Now, RadarOnline.com has learned shocking new details about their down-home country wedding featuring milk cartons and plastic bottles of water!
The new Duggar couple tied the knot on November 3, in Ada, Oklahoma. John David and Abbie first spoke to Us Weekly following their nuptials, calling the ceremony a "beautiful moment."
But RadarOnline.com has learned that the newlyweds opted for a completely understated wedding. The couple based their wedding theme around John David's occupation as a pilot. The couple said 'I do' at a Baptist church, followed by a reception in a construction hangar that houses airplanes, according to the Duggar Family News blog.
Photos obtained by the blog showed the reception featured guests being served chocolate milk cartons and plastic plates!
What's more is the couple kept the reception even more casual by serving some beverages in Styrofoam cups, as well as giving out miniature plastic water bottles.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, John David and Abbie were only engaged for three months before tying the knot.
The two confused fans after initially posting a wedding registry with a date of New Year's Eve. RadarOnline.com later learned, however, that the two pushed up their wedding to early November.
John David popped the question this summer to Abbie, while attending his brother Josiah's wedding to Lauren Swanson.
