Dangerous Friendship? Demi Lovato’s Sober Buddy Henry Levy Still ‘Using Drugs Four Months Ago’

Demi Lovato’s new sober companion is known as a hardcore drug addict, who was still injecting drugs in July and is the “worst influence ever” on people around him, according to his friends.

Demi completed a 90-day rehab stint a week ago and has been spotted around Los Angeles with Henry Levy - but his friends have warned RadarOnline that he has previously overdosed and they don’t expect him to stay off drugs for long.

One friend described how Henry is given a special medical shot in his butt every month which prevents him from doing heroin, so he started injecting speed instead and taking cocaine, and frequently appeared strung out in the summer.

The source, who has also been a drug user, told RadarOnline: “My friends would get worried when we would hang out because I would spiral out every time.

“He’s been to rehabs all over the world – Mexico, Europe – but he was still using drugs and shooting up only a few months ago.

“I don’t think he takes rehab or sobriety seriously at all.

"He said he likes the way he can go from working with someone like Kanye West to hanging out with homeless people on Skid Row.

“I can’t imagine any way in which he could be a good or positive influence on Demi, at least not for long.”

Another source also confirmed Henry’s history of drug use and said he was still using illegal drugs in July 2018.

A lawsuit obtained by RadarOnline also accused him of drug use, fraud, discrimination, and failure to pay overtime wages.

However, another insider claimed Henry has since turned his life around and he is now fully committed to sobriety.

The source said: “The designer has never tried to hide his past struggles with addiction, and he is currently clean, sober and focused on maintaining his sobriety. He’s passionate about his art and his business.”
