Demi Lovato To Make Career Comeback — After Spending Rest Of Year In Utah Rehab

Demi Lovato is planning a major career comeback — but not any time soon!

After recently celebrating 90 days of sobriety, the 26-year-old “Sober” singer has decided to stay in treatment at a Utah rehab facility for the remainder of the year, a friend told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“Demi wanted to leave Utah recently, because she felt guilty for letting her fans down and cancelling the rest of the tour that she was on when she overdosed,” a source close to Lovato, 26, said.

“But after much consideration, Demi’s mom Dianna was able to convince her to stay put for now."

While her friends and family are "extremely proud" of her recovery, the star's loved ones "don't think she is ready to leave and jump back into the industry just yet.”

"For now, Demi is just focusing on her treatment."

She is, however, working out in an effort to get back into shape for her return to Hollywood.

As fans know, Lovato nearly died after suffering a drug overdose at her Hollywood Hills, Calif., home in July.

Although the house has been on the market for months and has attracted possible buyers such as Justin Bieber, 24, and wife Hailey Baldwin, 21, no one has put down an offer yet.
