Actress Goes Topless In Desperate Bid To Earn Oscar

An aging celebrity turned to desperate measures in her bid to obtain an elusive Oscar — but the decision went horribly wrong!

Rob Shuter, host of the podcast Straight Shuter!, revealed the unnamed star, who has her own production company, could only get funding and distribution for a pet project — which she believed could have nabbed her the Academy Award — by agreeing to go topless in a sex scene in the new film.

According to Shuter, after she shot the scene, however, she changed her mind and cut the nudity from her film.

As a result, the distributors refused to release the picture, and it sat on the shelf for years before finally getting a straight-to-video release years later.

The actress was "totally embarrassed," said Shuter, since she thought straight-to-video was completely beneath her because she was such a big star!
