Ariana Grande went straight to the top of the music charts with her single "thank u, next" this Sunday night, but this Monday, she suffered quite a few mishaps during her first live performance of the hit song.
While singing about her exes on The Ellen Show, the couldn't contain her tears, and almost broke down crying during the verse about her parents.
"One day I'll walk down the aisle holding hands with my mama/I'll be thanking my dad, 'cause she grew from the drama," Grande, 25, sang between sobs.
As if that wasn't enough, the beauty slipped and almost fell after jumping off a chair onstage. "Oh my god!" she screamed before quickly getting herself together and continuing the song.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Grande has had a tough year. This September, her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, died of an accidental overdose caused by mixing drugs and alcohol.
Then one month later, she called off her engagement to comedian Pete Davidson and even kicked him out of their lavish New York City home.
Regardless, she seems to be getting herself together — and a record-breaking single is not the worst place to start!
