Redmond O’Neal ‘Suicidal’ In Jail, Attorney Claims In Court Hearing
As he remains in jail on attempted murder, robbery and drug charges, Redmond O’Neal’s “state is deteriorating into suicidal,” his attorney claimed in a Los Angeles court hearing today, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
The very troubled 33-year-old’s lawyer, Nina Daly, attempted to get a doctor to visit him face-to-face behind bars, but the prosecutor said it can take up to four weeks.
“They have eyes on him, but it is getting worse every day. He needs medication,” Daly pleaded.
The judge responded that the court would try to get a doctor appointed immediately.
The doctor will meet with O'Neal and submit a report to the judge by November 15, when the next hearing is scheduled.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the son of the late Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal spends his days “pacing his cell, talking to himself, often loudly yelling.”
O’Neal has been hit with multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after an alleged Los Angeles crime spree in May.

During one week, prosecutors claimed O’Neal attempted to stabbed a man with a glass bottle in and punched another man in the Palms area of Los Angeles.
On May 4, he allegedly stabbed another man and repeatedly stabbed a fourth man in separate attacks in Venice.
Three days later, O’Neal allegedly threatened an employee at a Venice Beach coffee shop.
On May 8, prosecutors said O’Neal brandished a knife at an employee at a convenience store in Santa Monica and demanded cash.
He faces 22 years in prison for the slew of alleged crimes.
Despite all of the charges, the case is on hold while the judge decides if he’s competent to stand trial.
