The music world has lost a passionate member. As RadarOnline.com has learned, Canadian rapper, Jon James, died this Saturday while performing a dangerous stunt for his music video.
The talented daredevil was doing a stunt that involved walking on a plane wing while rapping. His rep told PEOPLE that he trained "intensively" for months before finally doing the stunt, but in the end a sudden mishap resulted in his tragic death.
"He died filming for a project he had been working on for months. His final act included performing an airplane stunt that included rapping while walking on the wing," his rep said in a statement.
"As Jon got further out onto the wing of the plane, it caused the small Cessna to go into a downward spiral that the pilot couldn't correct. Jon held onto the wing until it was too late, and by the time he let go, he didn't have time to pull his chute. He impacted and died instantly," the rep continued.
