The Closs Family Was Reclusive Before Murder: 'They Wouldn't Even Come To The Door'

The tragic Closs family were ultra private and not very friendly, a Wisconsin neighbor exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
Joan Smrekar revealed: "I didn't ever see James and Denise. They kept to themselves to themselves. We'd sometimes take the mail over, but they wouldn't even come to the door even when they were home."
"In this community they were unusual because we all get along and know what everyone is doing. But it sounds like they did have family and friends, just not in this stretch."
Authorities are currently searching for Jayme Closs, 13, who they believe was kidnapped after both her parents were brutally murdered at the family home.
James Closs, 56, and Denise Closs, 46, were shot and murdered during the early hours of October 15.
The shocking crime has gripped America, and has the rural community of Barron, about 80 miles northeast of Minneapolis, in a state of shock.
Smrekar added: "We didn't know them. We didn't ever see them in the yard, we'd just see them driving in and out of the driveway."
"I didn't even know they just had one child. I'd only see Jayme when the bus dropped her off, and I usually just saw the back of the bus.
"We never saw James and Denise do yard work or anything like that they kept themselves to themselves."
Now, the FBI are involved in the massive search to find the teenager.
Over 35,000 agents from 56 field offices have been briefed on the case, an FBI source told RadarOnline.com on Friday.
"Washington doesn't want to leave any stone unturned. The goal is to bring Jayme back, safely," revealed the source.
