Meghan Markle Ditching Vegan Diet For The Baby!

Meghan Markle is ditching her vegan diet and going back to juicy steak dinners — for the sake of her baby!

As RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal, the Duchess of Sussex was spotted eating a burger on a recent visit to Soho House in Amsterdam — though the clue she was pregnant was missed until now.

Meghan, 37, who usually sticks to a leafy plant diet topped with healthy grains and fresh green juice, has taken the advice of royal doctors and will be eating meat throughout her pregnancy. Experts say that without her side of animal protein, she main not get enough vitamin B12, which is essential to the development of any child.

"It's extremely difficult for mums-to-be who follow vegan or vegetarian diets to get enough of the proteins they need for two from their existing diet," a source told RadarOnline.com. "While Meghan isn't fond of the idea of eating meat, she's doing it for the sake of her baby and after taking advice from her private medical team."

Though she may have gotten away with her veganism before she married Harry, royal protocol is turning strict on the actress-turned-royal.

"Undoubtedly she'll go back to a more vegetarian lifestyle after the birth," added the insider.

NHS advice for expectant moms says: "Eating healthily during pregnancy is important for your own health and the health of your developing baby. It's important to eat a varied and balanced diet during pregnancy to provide enough nutrients for you and the development and growth of your baby. Vegetarian and vegan mums-to-be need to make sure they get enough iron and vitamin B12, which are mainly found in meat and fish, and vitamin D."

While Prince Harry, 34, has always supported his wife's healthy habits, it looks like Meghan Markle will be becoming a carnivore — at least for the next nine months.
