Meghan Markle was so desperate to conceive in the first year of her marriage to Prince Harry that she put him on a "conception clock" using a fertility app!

RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the Duchess downloaded the Aesop Fertility Clock, which used her personal menstruation details to alert her when to bed Harry, 34.

It also used personal data about Meghan's body reportedly used to tell users how to increase their chances of conceiving either a boy or girl.

Meghan, 37, decided on the Aesop Fertility Clock after reviewing a string of popular fertility apps such as NaturalCycles and Glow. The latter was founded by PayPal entrepreneur Max Levchin and pinpoints users' ovulation days, even sending message updates such as "Whoohoo! You're ovulating!"

"The reason Meghan plumped for the Aesop app was she liked the idea of being able to maximize the chances of having a girl," an insider told RadarOnline.com. "At first Harry thought it was all a bit robotic and un-romantic. But they started to turn it into a game and Meghan would tell him: 'It's Aesop time.'"

Meghan previously revealed her dreams of having a baby girl — also named Meghan — while Harry has said he would be very happy with either.

The Duchess of Sussex has already even bought a $6,000 present for her unborn child, engraved with the initials she wants her to have.

Three years ago, Meghan bought a pricey Cartier Tank Françoise wristwatch after learning she would get paid the big bucks for Suits.

Meghan told Hello magazine in 2015: "When I found out Suits had been picked up for our third season — which, at the time, felt like such a milestone — I totally splurged and bought the two-tone version of the watch. I had it engraved on the back, 'To M.M. From M.M'. And I plan to give it to my daughter one day. That's what makes pieces special, the connection you have to them."

Meghan's determination to call her daughter will see betting odds plummet that the child will be called Diana or, if it is a boy, Spencer (Diana's original surname) in tribute to Harry's mom. Even if the two do have a daughter and do call her Meghan, royal insiders believe the names Diana and Spencer will be featured somewhere in the baby's name.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Meghan was caught wearing the late Princess Diana's butterfly earrings on her current tour of Australia. She also appeared to be wearing Lady D's gold and blue bracelet when leaving Taronga Zoo in Sydney.

Talking about the importance of Diana in her relationship with Harry, the former actress once said: "'It's important to know that she's a part of this with us."

As of now, Meghan has refused to learn her baby's sex, but seeing as she's 12 weeks along, royal fans are already buzzing with excitement!
