Johnny Depp Claims Ex Amber Heard 'Play-Acted' Abuse: 'I Was 25ft Away From Her!'
Troubled Johnny Depp branded his ex Amber Heard insane for allegedly pretending he was a wife-beater. Depp, 55, said Heard, 32, play-acted being hit by him in front of his security team – even though he was standing 25 feet from the actress, according to court documents obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com.

Depp made the shock claims in newly unearthed court documents that mark the latest bitter twist in the fallout after his divorce from Heard.
The allegation emerged in legal documents lodged in Britain’s High Court by the actor as part of his libel action against a UK newspaper that accused him of abusing Amber.
In the papers, Johnny and his team deny he ever hit Amber or threatened her with objects such as a magnum-sized bottle of wine.
His claims refer to an incident Amber alleged happened on May 21 2016 – two days before she filed for divorce from the actor after 15 months of marriage.
She claimed cocaine and booze turned hard-partying Johnny into an unhinged monster.
In court documents she stated the alleged iPhone hurling was just one of many abuse incidents she endured while they were a couple.
But addressing claims he chucked an iPhone at Amber, pulled her hair and grabbed her face in a violent rage on May 21 2016, court papers referring to Johnny as the claimant said: “The claimant was not drunk or high when he arrived. He came with two of his security – Mr Bett (Sean Bett – a former detective with the LA Sherriff’s Department) and Jerry Judge to collect some of his belongings from Penthouse 3.
“The claimant brought his security guards with him precisely because he was concerned about what Ms Heard might do.
“The phone did not hit Ms Heard on the face or elsewhere. Nor did the claimant pull Ms Heard’s hair or strike her, or grab her face, or touch her.
“Upon hearing Ms Heard shouting, the security guards immediately, i.e. within one or two seconds, opened the doors and rushed into penthouse 3 via the kitchen where the claimant was standing. Immediately upon opening the door, the security guards observed the claimant standing in the kitchen area, far away from Ms Heard.
“At that moment, Ms Heard yelled ‘Stop hitting me Johnny’ into the phone.
“The claimant was not hitting Ms Heard, who was standing about 25 feet away from the claimant.
“Ms Heard was visibly shocked to see the security guards enters, and attempted to feign crying.
“Ms Heard changed from the present tense to the past tense and said, ‘He hit me with a phone’, and, ‘That’s the last time you hit me Johnny.'
“The claimant did not move but said, ‘What are you talking about? You’re crazy. I didn’t hit you.' Ms Heard screamed, ‘Call 911’.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Amber was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Johnny on May 27 2016, and claims a photo taken of her with a bruised cheek was evidence the actor had struck her with a phone.
At the time, sources connected to Johnny said Amber was lying about when the photo was taken.

They pointed to Instagram where Heard was tagged in a picture with Amanda de Cadenet and model Amber Valletta at de Cadenet’s birthday party, the day after he allegedly attacked her.
The actresses’ hair covered the areas of her face that appeared to have been bruised the day before – and the image was deleted shortly after it was highlighted.
After allegedly having a phone thrown at her face Amanda stated Johnny continued to attack her.
She said: “He then forcibly pulled back my hair as I attempted to stand up from the sofa. Johnny continued screaming at me, pulling my hair, striking me and violently grabbing my face.”
She said the attack only ended when a friend, who Amber had texted asking for help, arrived to their Broadway condominium.
Johnny left the property – but not before he allegedly picked up a magnum bottle of champagne and used it as a baseball bat to “smash everything he could”, Amber’s claim about the incident stated.
Johnny’s court papers deny he smashed any items at their South Broadway home and stress officers examined Amber in daylight and found no evidence she was injured.
“The police officers who attended shortly after the alleged incident inspected the property and saw no smashed items, broken bottles, broken glass, destroyed cutlery, destroyed flowers, or spilled wine," state the documents. "Two police officers who attended the apartment directly after the alleged incident and interviewed Ms Heard twice in good light, saw no injuries or bruising or swelling to Ms Heard’s face or elsewhere."
“When one of the officers asked Ms Heard what had happened she responded, ‘Nothing.'"
“When Ms Heard was asked if she was hurt, she shook her head. Ms Heard said she did not want to make a police report and there was nothing wrong.”
Johnny’s court papers also state about the photo Amber produced as evidence she was battered by the actor: “It was not a photograph of any ‘injury’ caused by the claimant. In the subsequent proceedings brought by Ms Heard, hardcopy photographs were put in evidence, but neither the original images nor the associated metadata were produced.”
In previous court papers lodged by Johnny, he claims Amber waged a campaign of abuse against him.
He has claimed she punched him twice in the face in April 2016 for arriving late to her birthday party.
It’s also been reported Johnny believed Amber left a pile of excrement in their bed as punishment for not being punctual to the party.
Johnny and Amber met in 2009 and were romantically linked in June 2012 after filming 2011’s The Rum Diary together.
They reached an out of court divorce settlement in August 2016.
