‘Alaskan Bush’ Star Matt Brown Forced Into Rehab After Family Intervention

Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown entered rehab this week after suffering a an alcohol abuse relapse that a source claimed was brought on by his mom Ami’s cancer crisis!
And now, less than one week after the 36-year-old voluntarily checked himself into a 90-day inpatient program, a source close to the Brown family told RadarOnline.com exclusively, “Matt’s decision to enter treatment came after a family intervention."
“Matt was told he could either go and get help, or he could face losing his contract with the show, as well as the support of his family,” the insider said.
As a source previously told Radar, the star was desperately attempting to hide his drinking," but his family quickly discovered what had been going on.
As fans know, this is the second time that Matt has entered rehab in hopes of overcoming his demons.
After his first stint in 2016, the eldest Brown sibling discussed his “downward spiral” with fans and said, “I could see myself spiraling. I was more withdrawn. I was slower. Things didn’t excite me the way they used to.”
According to the Brown family source, Matt has spoken to his family since entering treatment this week.
“He has spoken to his brothers, and told them that he is doing okay," the source said. "He is very tired and worn down, but he will be alright."
