The Texas Department of Public Safety has released new video of a woman with a baby leading police on a chase that had happened in June near San Antonio.

The wild clip shows mother Caitlyn Rodriguez, 29, trying to escape the cops with the child in tow!

Police were pursuing Rodriguez in her SUV and she crashed into a truck at an intersection.

Incredibly, she then pulled a baby in a car seat out of the back of her vehicle. The woman, who had a warrant out on her, ran on foot over several lanes of traffic from police while holding the child in the carrier.

Rodreguez then jumped into the front seat of a passing car in reportedly an attempted carjacking.

The driver of that vehicle climbed out and removed a child from the back seat.

Authorities soon took Rodreguez into custody in the middle of the road.

"The baby's safe! The baby's safe!" an officer shouts in the video.

Rodreguez was charged with evading arrest, possession of controlled substance and endangering a child.
