Sylvester Stallone had a "wonderful" time punching Dolph Lundgren in the face for Creed II.

The actor was reunited with his nemesis from boxing movie Rocky IV – in which Stallone portrayed all-American boxing hero Rocky Balboa taking on Russian hardman Ivan Drago, played by the Swedish actor - and he recently enjoyed meeting him again for his latest movie.

Talking about his film franchise, Stallone exclusively told RadarOnline: "Rocky IV was the most popular of the original series. Dolph Lundgren, the villain, became a cult hero.

"I thought wouldn't it be great to bring it back 30-years later, but his son is the one who's going to wreak havoc.

"He's literally raised his son in a culture of hatred, like some societies do. They take their children and turn them into weapons.

"It has some nice twists and turns from it – and I get to punch Dolph in the face again, which is wonderful."

Rocky IV also starred Stallone's then-wife Bridgette Nielsen, who played the girlfriend of Drago in the movie, and who recently gave birth at 54!
