Authorities have recovered the body of a 1-year-old boy whose body was swept away by flood waters in North Carolina, the Associated Press reported.
As RadarOnline.com has learned, the child slipped from his mother's grip after hurricane Florence hit last week.
As of now, the hurricane was been downgraded to a tropical depression, but continues to devastate the area.
At least 17 people have died due to storm-related incidents, according to reports, and 523,000 homes and businesses are still without power.
