A surgeon who appeared on the Bravo show 'Online Dating Rituals of the American Male' has been charged for allegedly raping at least two Southern California women while they were drunk or drugged, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
Dr.Grant William Robicheaux, 38, an orthopedic surgeon from Newport Beach, Calif., has been charged with rape by use of drugs, oral copulation by anesthesia or controlled substance, assault with intent to commit sexual offense and possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of an assault weapon.
Robicheaux’s girlfriend, Cerissa Laura Riley, 31, of Brea, Calif., also face similar charges.
According to Orange County District Attorney Office officials, Robicheaux and Riley allegedly invited a 32-year old woman to a party on April 10, 2016. Once the woman was intoxicated, prosecutors alleged the pair took the woman back to Robicheaux’s apartment where they then gave the woman drugs before “raping and orally copulating” the alleged victim.
The woman called Newport Beach Police and took various exams that showed she tested positive for multiple controlled substances.
Prosecutors also alleged Robicheaux and Riley allegedly met a second woman at a Newport Beach bar on Oct. 2, 2016 and drank with the woman “until the victim was no longer conscious.” The pair then allegedly took the second alleged victim to Robicheaux’s apartment and sexually assaulted her with the intent to commit rape, authorities said.
The second alleged victim screamed for help and a neighbor called police, who responded to Robicheaux’s apartment. Police found “large quantities” of illegal drugs, unregistered assault rifles, four other firearms and several large capacity magazines during a search of Robicheaux’s apartment on Jan. 9, 2018.
Prosecutors said there could be other victims, and added Robicheaux and Riley traveled to various festivals such as Burning Man in Black Rock Desert, Nevada and the Splash House festival in Palm Springs.
