Mel B Reveals Cocaine Addiction Hell In Memoir Manuscript

Mel B was once so heavily addicted to cocaine, she needed the drug just to get out of bed in the morning, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.

The Spice Girls singer, 43, is currently locked in a nasty custody battle with her ex-husband, Stephen Belafonte. But before they split, Mel revealed she was hooked on cocaine and “living in hell,” according to a manuscript for her upcoming memoir, Brutally Honest, obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com.

The former singer's addiction began in 2014, according to her manuscript.

She blamed returning to England and fighting with Belafonte for her downward spiral.

In the draft, Scary Spice shockingly revealed the dark details of her drug addiction, which began early in the morning when she’d snort two lines of cocaine just to get on her feet.

Mel admitted she was working overseas as a judge on X Factor at the height of her addiction.

The former singer confessed she would continue to snort up to six lines of cocaine throughout the day just to remain alert while at work, according to the book manuscript.

Although the drugs helped her to function, Mel claimed it was Belafonte who caused her to become paranoid.

In the tell-all manuscript, the star accused Belafonte of brainwashing her into believing her own parents were planting bad stories about her in the press.

The UK native also admitted that she would barely see daylight because she would often lay in her home with the curtains closed.

Mel’s addiction confession could have an effect on her current custody battle with Belafonte. As RadarOnline.com readers know, Belafonte is seeking full custody of their daughter, Madison, 7.

On August 31, Mel agreed to submit to drug testing after the exes duked it out in court, RadarOnline.com exclusively reported.

She also admitted last month she plans to undergo therapy to deal with her alcohol issues.
