Mel B Offers To Submit To Drug Testing After Ex Demands Full Custody Of Daughter

Mel B has offered to submit to drug testing after her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte demanded full custody of their young daughter in a nasty court hearing Friday morning, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported on Thursday, Belafonte wants to get temporary custody of Madison, 7, due to the former Spice Girl’s admitted problems with alcohol and mental health.

During the court hearing in Los Angeles this morning, Belafonte’s attorney Grace Jamra told the judge: “The bottom line is we are not here because we want to. We are here for Madison.”

Mel B’s attorney Talin Boyanamian said the star, 43, is willing to submit to three months of drug testing and a full psych evaluation.

However, she also asked for Belafonte to submit to random testing — which the judge shut down, claiming the attorney didn’t have proof it was necessary.

Both parties took a break from the hearing to discuss the specifics of the drug testing.

After the brief brief, both sides returned to court to announce they had come to a confidential agreement.

They will return to court on September 4.

Mel B recently confessed she suffers from a drinking problem and PTSD in the wake of her nasty, drawn-out split from Belafonte, and said she will undergo therapy for the issues.

As RadarOnline.com reported this morning, the singer’s friend Rusty Updegraff is concerned about Mel’s well-being, and especially her constant companion Gary Madatyan’s alleged control over her life.
