Lyric McHenry Cremated & Laid To Rest At Funeral Three Weeks After Tragic Death

Lyric McHenry was finally laid to rest in a private funeral service for close family and friends in Los Angeles on Sept. 5, RadarOnline.com has learned.
“It was an intimate gathering for those closest to her," family spokesperson Edna Sims told RadarOnline.com exclusively, noting attendees were "those that knew her well, who loved her, and those who will truly miss her."
Sims added that "the family had her body cremated.”
McHenry, who recently passed away at age 26, was close with Magic Johnson’s son EJ and appeared on his E! reality show EJNYC. Magic tweeted how “difficult” it was for him to say his goodbyes to his son's friend.
As RadarOnline.com reported, McHenry, the daughter of famed Hollywood film director and producer Doug McHenry, died on August 14 in New York City. Before she passed away, police had found her unconscious, wearing only a pajama top and underwear.

A spokesperson for the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner noted the exact cause of death is still pending.
