A second autopsy is being performed on Lyric McHenry, at the request of her grieving family, RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusively.
The late reality star's loved ones are desperate to know more behind what caused her tragic death, a source close to the situation revealed.
"Lyric's grandfather is a respected doctor and is making those arrangements," the informant told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "Her family refuses to believe she was some drug user who partied her life away and think drugs were planted on her."
RadarOnline.com contacted the Medical Examiner's office in NYC where McHenry's body had been for weeks following her Aug 14 death, but at this time, a cause of death has not been determined.
McHenry's family, who didn't know the 26-year-old producer was pregnant until it was revealed in the press, say reports that she abused drugs "can't be true" and they "want to set the record straight."
"She was respected, talented and the star of the family and they don’t want her legacy tarnished.”
