Julie Chen returned to host Big Brother this Wednesday, days after her husband, Leslie “Les” Moonves was fired by the network.

While the longtime host went through the regular steps while onscreen, she sent a subtle shoutout to her husband during her sign off, making it clear that she is on his side.

Looking straight at the camera with her icy-white smile, the TV star said: “I’m Julie Chen Moonves. Goodnight.”

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Les acted as the CEO of CBS for many years before he was ousted this September 9, following various accusations of sexual abuse. While he admitted to having acted inappropriately towards women “decades ago,” he said he never forced any of them into sexual acts.

Regardless, he was let go.

Julie shared a statement following her husband’s scandal, telling her The Talk cohosts that she was fully stood and will always stand by her man.

After her cheeky “Julie Chen Moonves” sign off, a source told PEOPLE that backstage at CBS people gasped. “Everyone knows that it’s a big ‘f**k you’ to CBS that she did it, because she never, ever refers to herself as anything but Julie Chen.”

“It’s sort of perfect when you think about it,” added the source. “The casual viewer probably didn’t even notice, but I promise you that the network did. They were watching every single second of the show to see if she would do anything. They must have been breathing a sigh of relief because the show was almost over, and then that happened!”
