Pro boxer Victor Ortiz turned himself into police this Tuesday after being accused of felony and rape, RadarOnline.com has learned.

According to various outlets, Ortiz, 31, was charged with three felony sexual assault charges, including rape, by the Ventura County District Attorney's Office.

While the charges came this Monday, the boxer turned himself in on Tuesday afternoon and was immediately arrested.

The shocking case came after a woman accused Victor Ortiz of having sexually assaulted her in March 19 of this year. Police then conducted an investigation and found him as the suspect. Now, his bail has been set at $100,000 and he could face prison time.

The WBC welterweight champ has had a few run-ins with the law before. In 2017, he was charged with DUI, and two years prior was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
