Ariana Grande is finally breaking her silence on the tragic passing of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller.
The singer shared a video of her and Miller goofing off together in what appeared to be a date night out. She posted a heartbreaking message alongside the image: “I adored you from the day I met you when I was 19, and I always will. I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore.” She also writes, “You were my dearest friend. For so long. Above anything else. I’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. I really wanted to.”
The former couple started dating in 2016 and broke up in May 2018.
Shortly after they split, Grande took to her social media saying the relationship was "toxic." She said: “I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course),” she wrote. “But shaming/blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his s**t together is a very major problem.”
