'Little Women' Villain Matt: Ex-Wife Briana Renee Was Sex-Crazed, Obsessive & Suicidal

The estranged husband of Little Women: LA’s Briana Renee claims the former reality star is extremely jealous, suicidal, and so sex-hungry she kicked him out of their home after he refused her advances, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.

According to California court documents exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com, Matthew Grundhoffer said in a declaration that Renee sent him “several sexually explicit text messages, begging me to come back to her for sexual intercourse” on November 2017. He claimed at that point, he and Briana Renee were still living in the same house but sleeping in separate bedrooms. (The parents of Maverick, 2, announced their split later that month.)

Grundhoffer alleged Renee was suicidal in the last weeks of their tumultuous marriage.

“Petitioner expressed her desire to die,” Grundhoffer said in the court document. “She threatened to kill herself and even told me to take our son and her daughter to the State of Washington where they would be well taken care of with my family and me."

"In light of her unstable, emotional and suicidal notions, I removed my gun locker from the evidence because I feared Petitioner could access the guns inside for improper use, since she knew the passcode to the open locker. Based on my experiences, I fear her emotional imbalance, need for support and lack of proper help now puts our child at risk of harm.”

As RadarOnline.com reported, Renee filed the restraining order against Grundhoffer in December 2017, alleging he had verbally and physically abused her during his drinking binges.

She also claimed Grundhoffer sent sexts to other women, and even talked about bestiality involving a minor family member.

In her supplemental declaration to the protective order request, Renee said she is afraid for her safety.

She alleged Grundhoffer carried a gun and "pretended to aim and look down the barrel of the gun and state, ‘I am not afraid of anyone.’”

Grundhoffer, however, fired back a response against those claims, and said in the Aug. 1, 2018 affidavit that Renee never reported any violent incidents to police. He pointed out that she was the one who kicked him out of the house and changed the door locks.

"She asked me to meet with me to change all utility accounts, removing my name and naming just her as account holder,” Grundhoffer wrote in the affidavit. "I obliged her, but it was also an opportunity I took to see and hold our son, Maverick, and to play with him. It would be the last time I was allowed to see him until now.”

Grundhoffer added said he was not interested in filming Little Women because of the negative way he was portrayed, but show producers allegedly told Renee that her appearance on the show “would be diminished” without him.

“Against my better judgement, I signed on to continue with the show with a minuscule fraction of Petitioner’s pay on the show, as I negotiated Petitioner’s increase in her pay scale,” Grundhoffer said in the affidavit. “Additionally, Petitioner was jealous of one other female producer, who was also a cast member on the show. Petitioner has expressed her obsession over that woman, which manifested in her requiring hospital stays at least once a month for over a year in our marriage.”

A source close to Renee denies Grundhoffer's new allegations.

Grundhoffer’s court battles also extend beyond his nasty divorce.

He is currently facing allegations that he sexually assaulted a minor patient when he worked as a counselor in 2009 at the Child Study and Treatment Center in the state of Washington.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, the alleged victim filed a suit in June 2018 against the State of Washington, the Department of Social and Health Services, and Child Study and Treatment Center. (Grundhoffer is not listed as a defendant in that civil suit.)

The Little Women star and her ex were scheduled to appear at Riverside County Superior Court on Wednesday, Aug. 1 for a hearing on the permanent restringing order she filed against him.

According to court records, both are scheduled to return to court for a mandatory settlement conference regarding their divorce.
