Lindsay Lohan's Mykonos Resort Slammed For 'Rude' Service & 'Expensive' Prices
Viewers are getting the opportunity to experience Lindsay Lohan's luxurious Mykonos resort from their homes when Lohan Beach Club airs on MTV. But customers who stayed at the Greece hotspot aren't impressed! The actress's Lohan Beach House received underwhelming reviews because of her "rude" staff and "expensive" prices.
A customer turned to Tripadvisor.com to complain about the "really expensive" sun beds.
"We had to go to the reception to ask for an umbrella and a pair of sun beds and people told us that the only available ones are on the 4th row, but everything around us was empty and some people who wore brand name things were put on the second or first row," the customer explained. "The staff was rude… others had an attitude towards everything."
The club-goer, who gave the resort one star, then explained how the food and drinks were also pricey, especially since they were "not of good quality."
In a second review, a customer explained how they spent a day at the "awesome" beach. But the "really bad" service was a turn off.
"They are not friendly," the user, who gave the resort two stars, explained. "We had to wait 1 hour, 20 minutes to get our lunch because they had technical problems with orders. They answered in an arrogant way when we asked how long we had to wait. My boyfriend got his burger first and I still had to wait 30 minutes."
Another customer gave the resort one star because of the "arrogant staff."
"We had not reserved sun beds and asked for some," the commenter wrote. "They wanted to give us some quite far away from the action and music. We enquired very friendly if we could have a place nearer to the music, but they refused. On the map, I could see that there were free ones but the very unfriendly receptionist said in a rather aggressive tone that the plan was not for me to see."
The "arrogance" and "harsh tone" forced the customer to leave.
Fortunately for Lohan, her club did receive five stars from please customers.
"We went there the whole day and the place is wonderful," one customer wrote. "We had a fantastic lunch and the music was really great. One of the best in Mykonos."
A second reviewer said, "Came here with very few expectations on the day when our first choice venue was fully booked. Now it's one of our favorite private beaches on the island. We were greeted promptly and offered some of the best-placed sun beds despite turning up with no reservation and the beach being almost full. Pleasant relaxing music throughout the day turning to more upbeat towards the evening. Will certainly come back soon."
MTV announced Lohan's reality show Lohan Beach Club will premiere in 2019.
