'Insecure' Hailey Breaks Down After Quickie Engagement: I’ll Never Be Selena!

Hailey Baldwin is dealing with a major inferiority complex when it comes to Selena Gomez, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. And it’s a big factor in her and Justin Bieber’s recent mood swings.

Bieber, 24, shocked not only family and friends, but the world, when he proposed to the 21-year-old model after only dating for a few months. Almost immediately, rumors spread that the Biebs shotgun engagement was aimed directly at Gomez.

“Selena’s friends all know that the only reason he got engaged to her was to get back at Selena,” another source told Radar, explaining that when Gomez started hooking up with Caleb Stevens, Bieber “freaked out and went absolutely ballistic.”

The insider said Gomez just feels bad for Hailey at this point and considers her a “runner-up."

“She thinks the whole thing is a joke and knows it will never last.”

And despite his plans to wed Baldwin, the source claimed Bieber has contacted Gomez in recent months, long after their breakup. It’s all causing the sensitive Baldwin to question her relationship with the “Sorry” singer.

“It’s very tough on her, because she’s quite insecure in her looks and thinks Selena’s so much more beautiful than she’ll ever be,” the source revealed.
