Eminem is currently holed up at the five-star Penny Hill Park hotel in the village of Bagshot, south east England while he stages shows in London.

A source said: “Eminem requested extra tinfoil for his room, which totally baffled staff who had no idea he liked to use it to cover his windows.

“But he doesn’t only like to use it to black out his windows as he still suffers from insomnia – he also believes it deters anyone from using listening devices outside his suite.”

The insider added that even though Eminem is “extremely private” there is not much going on in his hotel suite as he prefers to use his free time between gigs reading comics, eating takeaway food and playing computer games.

“It’s weird Eminem thinks he needs to shut out prying eyes and ears as he’s just like a big kid in his hotel room.”

It is believed the rapper has taken the stand-alone Granary suite at the Pennyhill Park hotel, which costs at least $1,650 per night.

The hotel is a one-hour drive to London, where Eminem had gigs last weekend.

He usually stays outside London when performing there to avoid fans and has also checked in to Coworth Park hotel – where Prince Harry stayed the night before his wedding to Meghan Markle.

His other bizarre demands while staying at hotels have included the installation of ponds filled with koi carp fish worth a small fortune to help him relax.
