Rehab Update! Demi Lovato ‘Not Returning To Spotlight Anytime Soon’
Demi Lovato is not returning to Hollywood anytime soon, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
The “Sober” singer, 25, entered an in-patient rehab facility in Arizona last month following a horrific near-death overdose and a source close to her mother Dianna Hart told RadarOnline.com that she is willing to do whatever it takes to stay clean!
“Demi is cooperating and doing what they tell her to do,” the insider said.
“In addition, she has cut out pretty much everyone except for her immediate family and her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama right now.”
Valderrama, 38, has been a strong source of support for Lovato as he visited the star in the hospital after her overdose.
As previously reported, shortly after entering treatment, Lovato jetted off to Chicago, where she is receiving additional help for her mental health issues, which she has been incredibly open about in the past.
“She is still going back and forth to Chicago with her mom,” the insider told RadarOnline.com.
“Demi is not depending only on drug rehabilitation because she really believes that her problems stem from her need to self-medicate her depression with drugs and alcohol.”
After checking into rehab, Lovato cancelled the remainder of her world tour; she has no upcoming professional commitments.
“Everyone that knows her is incredibly supportive and just want her to get well," the source confided to RadarOnline.com.
