Demi Lovato’s Grandpa Begs Her To Quit Music ‘Before It’s Too Late’

Demi Lovato’s heartbroken grandfather is begging the pop star to ditch Hollywood to save her life!
A distraught Jaime De La Garza made his plea after it emerged Lovato overdosed on the same potent drug that killed Prince and rocker Tom Petty.
“I’m praying for her!” Jaime, 82, told RadarOnline.com exclusively from his home in Irving, Texas.
“I would like for Demi to quit the business and move back here before it’s too late. Hollywood is nothing but a horrible mess!”
The “Sober” singer, 26, reportedly overdosed at her Los Angeles home after smoking the painkiller oxycodone laced with deadly fentany — an opioid so powerful, it’s now being used by the state of Nebraska to execute prisoners.
Lovato was found around 11:30 a.m. on July 24 and was revived with Narcan.
Shockingly, De La Garza only learned about Demi’s brush with death by reading about it in a magazine.
“I was devastated, but that’s the only way I keep up with what’s going on,” said De La Garza, a Marine combat veteran. “The family calls me, but they just say, ‘Demi is doing fine!’”
According to sources, Lovato — who relapsed after six years of sobriety — checked into a live-in rehab facility.
“Hopefully, this is a wakeup call for Demi,” De La Garza said. “I’m just glad my wife isn’t here to see what’s happened to our granddaughter.”
