Britney's Bitter Money Battle Explodes: K-Fed Scores In Ugly Child Support Fight
Kevin Federline just scored a big win in his ongoing child support fight with Britney Spears, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
While the Pop Princess was in London on tour and sight seeing with her two sons, her attorneys appeared in court to discuss matters related to K-Fed’s request for more money from her each month.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Thomas Trent Lewis closed the courtroom on Friday, August 3, while the legal teams argued their case concerning an emergency motion filed by Federline's attorneys.
Federline had asked for an increase in the $20,000 a month he gets from Spears.
His attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan told RadarOnline.com he was “very pleased,” with the outcome of the private proceedings.
Kaplan also told RadarOnline.com the judge ordered Spears to pay "fees" and also ordered a “discovery referee,” to handle all concerns about records or document requests either party might have. The discovery referee would be a retired Judge, Kaplan said.

Kaplan said they’ve asked several times and sent motions to obtain records about how much Spears really makes, but those requests were thwarted by her high-powered attorneys.
